You may have not heard of Trevor Neumann, but it’s likely that you’ve heard his trumpet playing. Trevor is one of the most well respected, sought after, and versatile trumpet players today. His professional reputation and highest musical standards have made him a favorite with top producers and artists alike. Trevor is a multi-faceted musician equally comfortable as a featured soloist, performing in ensembles of any musical genre, or recording or engineering in the studio. Trevor’s live performances worldwide have taken him around the globe performing in some of the world’s most storied venues. He has appeared on all the major TV networks, on shows such as TODAY, GMA, CBS this Morning, SNL, Letterman, etc and toured and recorded with the some of the biggest names in the business. In addition to his extensive Broadway show resume, Trevor has contributed to many Grammy winning and TONY winning albums and can currently be heard on many TV news and sports themes. For the last decade, Trevor’s state-of-the-art private studio: NEUSOUND Studio has been recording and delivering for happy clients worldwide. Equally at home recording artistic or commercial projects NEUSOUND Studio is the go-to online source for remote Trumpet, horn section, piano, and vocal recordings.

Bio

Born in Germany to American Military parents, Trevor Neumann grew up in Rochester, NY. He began his musical journey on piano and was playing trumpet professionally by age 15. He became fluent in many genres of music at an early age gigging with local bands. He graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a B.M. in Trumpet Performance and the University of Miami with an M.M. in Studio Music and Jazz. After working his way through Rochester and Miami, Trevor made the move to New York City in 2003. His first week in NYC, Trevor was subbing on Broadway, performing at Iridium Jazz Club and at what is now Geffen Hall. Since then his career has taken off and he has been performing, recording and touring worldwide. Trevor resides in midtown Manhattan.

Over the past two decades, Trevor has recorded and performed with the some of the best in music, including the EAGLES, Hugh Jackman, Don Henley, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Diana Ross, Bette Midler and others for which he played solos and lead trumpet. He is a member of the TONY awards orchestra for many years and can be heard on TV on a variety of channels including NBC Football & Super Bowl theme, CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News and The Golf Channel, and Entertainment Tonight among others. In addition to recording sessions in traditional studios, Trevor’s private recording studio, NEUSOUND Studio, is where he records tracks for many artist’s albums, national commercials and other endeavors. He has also been busy with Broadway shows almost non-stop having held chairs at Tootsie, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Beautiful, The Carole King Musical, Annie, Newsies, Hugh Jackman’s Back on Broadway, West Side Story, Catch Me if You Can, Follies, In The Heights, A Chorus Line, The Wedding Singer & La Cage aux Folles. He has performed on multiple GRAMMY and TONY award winning albums and can be seen on screen with Liza Minelli in Sex in the City 2 and can be heard on other Hollywood films. Whether on the road or at home in NYC, Trevor brings a level of professionalism and musicianship rarely found and is always considered a valuable asset to the project at hand.
